The 16 murals in the OBA Art Walk were officially unveiled on August 29, 2020, bringing the total number of OBA murals in Oneonta to 18 as of today's date. Due to the narrowness of the walkway, it's a bit difficult to get straight-on photographs. You just need to visit downtown Oneonta, Alabama, to explore the walkway and other mural locations, and shop and dine while you are in town! Many of the murals are interactive, so be sure to bring your camera! Please share your photos with us by emailing them to [email protected] so we can share them on our social media pages.
- The OBA Artwalk is located on the 200 block, with entrances on 2nd Avenue (next to Southen Exposure Photography on Hwy 75) and 1st Avenue (next to Miller's Soda Shoppe), The walkway splits the 200 block.
- The Welcome to Oneonta mural is located on the wall of the Tidwell property facing Hwy 75 at the intersection of 2nd Ave (Hwy 75) and 2nd Street.
- The "Angels in Oneonta" mural is located on the wall of the Malone property located on Railroad Boulevard at 4th Street.
- Phase 2 of our murals includes an American flag on the former Baty TV building on Hwy. 75 (future home of United Flagpole showroom and offices), a "First Responders" on a site yet to be determined, and the addition of "Cattle Calling" painting in the planned plaza area of the OBA Artwalk. The walkway was one time used to load cattle "back in the day."
