Displayed on the lampposts and power poles along 1st and 2nd Avenues in the downtown district of Oneonta. Thanks to the approval of the City of Oneonta and Alabama Power Company, we will continue to accept sponsorships and expand the footprint of these banners.
The Flags of Honor project honors active duty military and veterans of our armed forces with colorful personalized 18 x 48 inch full color 18-mil vinyl banners with a matte finish. A sponsorship of $250 will include:
THIS IS NOT A FUNDRAISER. Funds collected go to pay for the two-sided banners, fiberglass banner arms with brackets and steel bands along with the maintenance that this project involves. Those wishing to sponsor must provide a decent quality photograph of the honoree in his/her uniform. Photograph will be returned after it is scanned. You may upload a high quality (300 dpi) image below or mail to the address below. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for its return.
