Since the inception of the OBA in the late 1990’s, we have worked to represent businesses,
professionals, financial institutions, arts groups, associated agencies, organizations, and private
individuals who share an interest in promoting and doing business in the City of Oneonta. We serve as
advocates for business interests and tourism of the city and promote Oneonta as a unique, thriving,
small-town experience in north central Alabama. We strive to generate effective promotional ideas
and events to maintain Oneonta's position as a great shopping and dining destination and provide
opportunities for business owners and residents to participate in programs and events that support the
quality of life in our community.
