Cruise-In Guidelines
- This is a rain or shine event, please check our website and/or Facebook page located at www.oneontabusinessassociation.com and www.facebook.com/oneontabusinessassociation for announcements of postponements.
- Owners of classic cars and trucks, motorcycles, and Off-the-Road (OTR)/All-Terrain-Vehicles (ATV) are invited to participate.
- So that groups can park together, we will try to have designated zones for vehicles. Please be patient upon arrival and allow volunteers to guide you to your area:
Motorcycles – 100 block
Classic cars and trucks – 200 and 300 blocks and connected side streets
OTR and ATV – 400 block and Gazebo area.
Vehicles may be asked to relocate should areas on 1st Avenue be open and can hold more vehicles. - There is no fee for participation.
- In order to clear the streets for the event, the venue area closes at 3 p.m. and the festivities officially begin at 5 p.m. Please plan to park in your designated zone between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. In order to protect spectators, we ask that you do not leave before the event concludes at 8 p.m.
- To check-in your vehicle to the event, please turn off Hwy. 75 (2nd Avenue) at 4th Street (across from Hicks Floral Designs). Once you get to the intersection of 3rd Street and 1st Avenue, volunteers will guide you to your zone. Please do not attempt to enter the venue area at another location. Barricades will be up and A-frame signs will direct you to the entry point.
- No reserving spots for friends. This also goes for downtown businesses that should not save the spots in front of their store.
- Please park your vehicle on the diagonal, backing it in. That way we can put more vehicles per area.
- No parking in areas that are blocked by traffic cones or barricades. No parking in stage area at 3rd Street intersection!
- We will have a few food trucks located on the north side of 3rd Street, so parking of vehicles may be limited in that area (between Cosa Bella Boutique and Redeemer Church).
- Please keep the center of the street free of vehicles so emergency vehicles can get through should the need arise. Hopefully, it won’t!
- The performance stage will be located at the intersection of 1st Avenue and 3rd Street on its south side. Live music will take place there. Please do not try to park around the stage as we will be unloading there and want to reserve the area in front of the stage for lawn chairs. Please do not play music from the vehicles.
- Please control your pets. Keep them on leashes.
- Please respect surrounding businesses. Do not block entrances with chairs. Check them out while you are here. Great food and shopping can be found in Oneonta!
- Feel free to practice social distancing. Wash hands or use hand sanitizer. Masks are optional. All participants and patrons are attending at their own risk and are responsible for exercising good judgement.
