  • Hobbies include football, basketball, baseball, and music
  • Been singing about 8 years; always fascinated with singing and music
  • Wants to pursue a career in singing
  • Musical influences are Thomas Rhett, Steve Ladd, and Bon Jovi
  • This is his first singing competition

  • 14 years old and this is her first singing competition
  • Daughter of Lisa Baker
  • 9th grader at Locust Fork High School
  • Interests include singing, reading, playing basketball with the Locust Fork Lady Hornets
  • Been singing since she was little but only recently singing in public; credits her uncle with getting her into singing
  • Musical likes include Alicia Keys, Adele, Nina Simone,
    and Joss Stone
  • As for her future, she hopes to attend the University of Alabama and major in botany

  • Daughter of Cindy Lyda Chasteen whom she gives all the credit for getting her into singing
  • 10th grader at Oneonta High School where she serves as one of the drum majors for the Oneonta Redskin Marching Band. She also plays the flute
  • Martha is also an accomplished equestrian
  • Musical influences are Patsy Cline, Renee Olstead, Adele,
    Lea Michele, and Louisa Johnson
  • This is her fourth year in the Singing Showdown!

  • She enjoys music, singing, and reading
  • As for her future, she plans to be an athletic trainer in sports medicine
  • Her musical tastes include Alicia Keys, Olivia O’Brien, and Pentatonix
  • She sings to honor her beloved grandmother who has passed away

  • Hobbies include singing, music, dance, and art
  • Been singing about 5 years and credits her parents for encouraging her
  • Wants to pursue a career in singing
  • Musical influences are Tori Kelley and Kathryn Mullins
  • In the future, she plans to travel and do missions to help in orphanages and nursing
  • She also has a passion for music and leading worship and loves to see how music changes people for the better

  • She was singing rock a bye baby at 9 months old
  • Her mom, Nanna, and great-grandmother all sing and encouraged her to, as well
  • Has sung with multiple choirs at school, churches, and private groups
  • She is a fan of the music of Lauren Daigle, Whitney Houston, and Haley Reinhardt
  • Future plans:  Music, nursing, and the mission field! A winning combination!

  • Daughter of Laine and Rob Ferrill who moved to Oneonta from Springville last summer
  • 11th grader at Crossroads Christian School
  • She has 13 brothers and sisters, 10 of who are adopted from China
  • Member of New Covenant Baptist Church
  • Enjoys being outdoors. Music (plays piano, violin, and guitar).
  • She began singing in her church’s children’s choir.
  • This is not her first music competition. She sang a duet with her sister in a talent show 2 years ago and won!
  • Her musical influence is her sister, Katie Lyn McKinney…as well as Sarah Groves, and J. J. Heller
  • She is not sure what her future holds, but she hopes it includes music!​

  • Hobbies include singing, playing guitar, track, and dance
  • Been singing about 10 years; started out in her church
  • Wants to pursue a career in singing
  • Musical influences are Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguilera
  • This is her first singing competition
  • Gabrielle plans to go to Belmont University and pursue a career in singing

  • She is a rising senior at Cornerstone Christian School
  • Hannah grew up surrounded by music and began taking lessons in 4th grade
  • Singing is her favorite hobby
  • She has tried out for American Idol and The Voice
  • SHE LOVES ALL THINGS DISNEY!
  • She loves the music of Adele, jazz standards, contemporary Christian artists such as Kari Jobe and Lauren Daigle
  • Hannah plans to go to UAB to get her RN degree

  • She has been singing since the age of 12 and credits Disney as her motivator
  • She won Trussville’s Got Talent 2 years in a row
  • Music tastes lean toward Kari Jobe, Lauren Daigle, Tori Kelly
  • Plans to go to college, then med school to be a pediatrician

  • 7th grader at Oneonta Middle School
  • Her interests include singing, acting, tumbling, cheerleading
  • She sings with the Alabama State Baptist Children’s Honor Choir and One Voice, as well as the Oneonta Show Choir “Give It a Rest” that will be performing tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. at the June Fling
  • She credits her mom and her involvement in children’s choir for getting her into singing
  • Musical influences include Kari Jobe, Johnny Cash, and the music of Broadway
  • She dreams of singing on Broadway

  • 14 years old and lives in Odenville
  • 9th Grader at the Alabama School of Fine Arts
  • Son of Misty White
  • Credits Autumn Brown for helping him learn to sing, teaching him to put hard work and determination into his art
  • This is not his first competition.  Last December, he won 2nd place in Musical Theater Comedy at State Trumbauer
  • Anakin was also a finalist for Tuscaloosa’s Got Talent
  • His musical influence is Jeremy Jordan
  • He wants to perform in Broadway musicals, sing, and act on TV
  • This summer, he will spend a month in New York City at the Film Academy for Musical Theater
  • In his future, he hopes to be living in the Big Apple and performing
